Large 5mm x 3mm Classic Automotive Glazing Seal

This style of Large 5mm x 3mm Classic Automotive Glazing Seal has been commonly used on cars, trucks, and boats for many years, traditionally on Classic British vehicles. The seal sits between the window or windscreen and the frame or body and when the filler strip is inserted down the centre, creates an effective sealing solution. This particular one has a larger external width which we know some customers have struggled to find. Now available from stock.

An ideal, cost effective replacement for many perished seals or for new applications too.

When measuring to buy a new seal, always be sure to measure the window and panel – not the old seal as this will have deteriorated over time, perished, stretched or even shrunk.

Uses

Top Tip: When fitting the filler insert strip, you may need to use some washing up liquid to ease it into the groove as you move round the seal. We sell the correct fitting tool which must be used. Please take a look at this here.
