Description
Rubber Blanking End Caps
Made from EPDM, these Rubber Blanking End Caps are the cost effective, neat and professional way to blank off pipes and hoses as well as using to protect the ends of threads, mask off parts for painting/coating or simply as a way to add some safety protection to the end of a sharp item.
Description:
- Available in a huge range of sizes from 3mm to 45mm inside diameter (please choose from the options before ordering).
- All sizes have a wall thickness of 1.5mm.
- Sizes 3mm to 10mm I.D have an inside length of 25mm.
- Sizes 12mm to 45mm I.D have an inside length of 38mm.
- Manufactured from EPDM synthetic rubber which has excellent heat and chemical resistance.
- 55 Shore Hardness
- Maximum working temperature of 215°C.
- Suitable for low pressure and vacuum applications.
- Smooth, natural black rubber finish.
- Supple, flexible and stretchable to ensure a good fit.
- Can be secured to the pipe/stub/thread using a cable tie, small hose clip or simply pushed on (application dependant).
Applications:
- Low pressure and vacuum sealing and blanking applications such as;
Blanking off pipe ends when a hose has been removed.
Pushing over male threads to protect the thread from damage.
Masking off the ends of pipes and/or threads for painting or coating.
On the ends of legs/poles/tubes as safety protection to prevent damage to personnel or other parts.
