Cohline Ethanol Proof Fuel Hose

Made in Germany, this Cohline Ethanol Proof Fuel Hose is the must-fit for classic, vintage and older vehicle owners when replacing fuel pipes, especially for Petrol use. The Cohline type 2240 fuel hose is suitable for all modern fuels, including E10 and beyond, up to E85.

Though a bit more expensive than many other fuel hose, this is the hose to fit and forget and will future proof your fuel system. We’ve used this hose on our own cars and we know it’s worth the money.

Price is per metre. If you order more than 1 metre, we will supply it as one continuous length. Maximum single length is 20 metres.

Description:

Available in two sizes;

7.3mm inside diameter which ensures a perfect fit with 8mm or 5/16″ pipes and fittings. This has an O.D of 13.5mm.

9.3mm inside diameter which ensures a perfect fit with 10mm or 3/8″ pipes and fittings. This has an O.D of 15.3mm.

Manufactured to and exceeds standards DIN 73379 Type B1 and SAE J30 R9
Suitable for use with all commercial and pump grade fuels including;

Petrol (E5, E10 and up to E85)

Ethanol

Diesel

Bio-Diesel

Both sizes have a max working pressure of 10 BAR and a burst pressure of 50 BAR.
This hose has a wide working temperature range from -40°C up to +125°C
Made of multiple, high performance layers; an FPM (Fluor Elastomer) Rubber inner, an ECO (Epichlorohydrin) Rubber intermediate, Braided Aramid Fibre reinforcement and an ECO (Epichlorohydrin) Rubber outer.
The hose is supple and highly flexible which makes fitting very easy.
Has a natural Black Rubber finish with the part number, size and specification printed on the side (ideal for Kit Cars and small volume vehicle manufacturers where the spec needs to be visible for IVA purposes).
Can be secured to the hard pipe using ‘Jubilee’ type hose clips, crimp collars or OEM style ‘ear’ hose clips.
Can be cut using snips or a good knife.
